Registration details
When you sign up with Educircle — including through platforms like Facebook — we may receive your basic details such as your name, profile picture and email address. These are used to personalise your experience.
Optional information
You may choose to add educational preferences, background or interests. This enables us to tailor content and connect you with relevant institutions or opportunities.
Technical and usage logs
To improve platform performance and security, we collect data such as browser type, time of access, IP address and visited pages. This is automatically removed or anonymised after a defined period.
Interaction tracking
We may monitor your interactions with links, buttons or content to enhance your overall experience and our service relevance.
How we use information
We use the information above to operate the platform, personalise your experience, tailor the guidance and course information we show you, connect you with institutions you choose to engage with, and keep the platform secure and reliable.
Your plan, profile and application data
When you use Create My Australia Plan, your answers stay with your session until you choose to save them to an account. Once saved, your plan, study preferences and profile details are used by the Educircle counselling team — including our counselling support systems — to prepare guidance for you.
Documents you upload for an application (such as academic records) are held in access-controlled storage, are never publicly reachable, and are used only to progress the applications you ask us to support.
Sharing with institutions and partners
Only the academic institutions or partners you explicitly engage with will have access to your shared profile. We do not broadcast your information to third parties without permission.
- With your approval: your data is shared only when you interact with particular services or institutions, or authorise us to do so.
- Legal situations: we may disclose data if required by law or legal process, or if necessary to prevent harm, enforce our terms, or address fraud or security threats.
- Business events: if Educircle undergoes a merger, acquisition or restructuring, user information may be transferred to the new entity under the same privacy commitments.
- Aggregated insights: we may publish trends or general usage statistics that do not identify individuals.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies that are required for core site functions, such as keeping your session signed in and protecting forms against misuse. Usage analytics, where enabled, rely on the technical and interaction data described above and are used in aggregate to improve the platform.
Data security
Your information is transferred over encrypted connections and stored with access controls, and application documents are kept in private, non-public storage. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so we limit what we collect and who can access it.
Managing your information
You are in control. You can update or change your details at any time from your account settings. If you wish to delete your account, you can remove access from your connected social media account or contact us — we initiate permanent deletion within 7 days following a 30-day deactivation period.

This policy may change over time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
